Dandelion Fields

Meet Amy from Field of Dandelions!

Amy is a Catholic middle school teacher who is also an extremely skilled seamstress. She decided to expand her mission and the use of her gifts outside the classroom and started making totes and pouches. From booksleeves to veil pouches, everyday purse totes to rosary pouches, her creations add a touch of faith to any occasion. I have been using her items for years now and everything has lasted the test of time! Through washes and tosses these bags hold up. But the best part is they are made with high quality materials and high quality prayer from Amy herself as she prays as she creates.

It may sound silly but her wonderful bags have made a difference in my life by adding joy!

Most of the time I attend Mass alone and that can feel somewhat sad at times. But carrying my tote with me connects me to a Catholic friend who is also serving the Church with her whole heart. These small items are filled with great love and somehow make me smile during those lonely times at Mass. Everything is prayerfully made, functional, brings joy, and many of them protect another item of my faith as you will see below.

Amy has generously provided Roots and Wings Ministry visitors with a discount code for 15% off your purchase.

This is a one time use code but you can subscribe to her email list for codes to use in the future.

Use code AMDG15 on your next purchase.

Below I have featured many of her products. I have her bags/totes in other fabrics but for this post

I chose to feature her "Do Small Things with Great Love" line for this truly epitomizes Amy's faith.

Please visit her site and pick up something for yourself or a loved one!

These make great gifts for the celebration of the Sacraments, birthdays, or holidays or for a just because gift for someone who needs a reminder of God's great love for them.

This size pouch can be used for anything! For me this fits my veil perfectly!

The Greatest Book Sleeve Ever!

These book sleeves are absolutely perfect for "Every Sunday Sacred Mass Journals" There is space for pens in the front pocket. A small Bible, Missalette and Journal or your favorite book would also fit beautifully inside! This is one of my favorite products from Amy! I highly recommend.

Clutch and Rosary Pouch

The clutch is great for pens or small toiletries. The rosary pouch keeps your rosary safe and secure!

Flat pencil pouch and Wallet pouch

I use the flat pencil to keep my mask and filters in (I have a chronic illness and need to carry them with me) but they are designed for pencils and pens. The wallet clutch serves the same purpose but is also perfect for cash, change, cards, etc.

Sunglasses Holder

This pouch is made for sunglasses. The bigger pocket could hold a pair of sunglasses very well and the little pocket in front great for chapstick or something similar. I however, us the front pocket for a prayer book and my tithe envelopes while the bigger pocket holds my pocket liturgical calendar which I need with me!

Extra Large Tote

This is another one of my absolute favorites! Wait til you see everything I can fit in it! The bottom is boxed to add stability, durability, and width. This is my everyday bag and goes everywhere with me!

Yes! It all fits in my Extra Large Tote

Inside my extra large tote I am able to fit: handsoap, hand lotion, eyeglass cleaning kit, mints, tissues, chapstick, a little vile of holy water all which go in the pockets Amy sews inside the tote. Then I can get ALL of the pouches featured on this page, my epipen emergency pack, and some of my brochures for spiritual direction! It all fits and even though its very full the integrity of the bag has not been compromised. When I am not on my way to Mass I remove the veil pouch and the book sleeve, which gives me more room to also stash a water bottle and some snacks!

All ready to go to Mass!

With the tote stuffed this full I cannot use the magnetic clasp, but most people don't need to carry that large medical pack to Mass. When I am out and about and remove the veil pouch and the book sleeve, the magnetic clasp is able to close and holds nicely!
